Re: esl discussion topics for adults?
Places they have visited, popular foods in their home country and their current country, how dating, marriage process, etc is in home country vs here, hobbies, favorite activities, school systems, favorite music, singers, celebrities, clothes, colors, pets, what their house or apartment is like here vs. home country, relationship with families, discuss what happened to them that day, look through magazines or books and identify vocabulary or discuss things in the pictures. Anything where the students can discuss similarities and differences, learn new words, and share experiences can be a great discussion topic.
