If I just listen English movie or radio....?
I'm not a native speaker. So I try hard to learn English.
because I want to speak like a native speaker.
Anyways , my question is If I just listen English movie or that kind of stuff. Can I speak English with no problem ? I mean
even if I don't understand whole meaning of movie. If I listen a lot, some day can I understand meaning too? like what we did when we learned our first tongue.
and How long does it take ??

I don't think that you can generalise. Each person will take a different amount of time - and may never speak like a native.

You may be able to pick up meaning, but you will not be able to communicate freely. You need to have an exchange of thoughts in order to learn to communicate in another language. Radio, movies, and TV do not allow for that. Remember that children do not learn their first language by simply listening. They learn and correct themselves as they begin talking back.

I'm sure you can, pay attention to what the actors are doing while talking, that might help you understand the meaning of what the actors are saying. as for how long it will take...i don't know, it depends on how fast you can catch on, and how often you watch american movies or listen to american music. If you can find a movie with subtitles in your native language it might help you to watch that, match the english words or phrases you do understand to the words of your language, and then eliminate those words, leaving the english words you don't know or understand to be matched with the words from your language that are left...I know this can be confusing, just be patient...you probably speak better english than you think, atleast better than many americans anyway.
