how to improve my american english pronounciation?
My english has a heavy french accent.{maybe the grammar too}.I always try my best to improve the pronounciation, but it's a bit hard because I have not enough money to attend the english class, furthermore,I have to work on my chinese language; My english vocabulary is average, but the main problem is the good pronounciation?can I settle this down with some free online courses?is there any website that You guys could suggest me? If yes, please send me a link,I'll be grateful. It could also be a book with an audio CD that I can find round here in a bookstore in Beijing or any other helpful suggestion.
P.S:I have tried the BBC website before, but Ithink?it's more british than american.thank you for your understanding.

Ouais. Si tu veux apprendre la prononciation américaine, BBC n'est pas l'endroit. Je te recommende que tu vas apprender l'alphabet API (IPA en anglais), et apprender de prononcer correctement avec ça. Pour apprendre l'alphabet, tu devrais visiter Wikipedia.
Vraiment, ce va t'aider.

Your only way is to come to The States. Don't go to the NE part of US. THeir accents are rude and ugly.

try to visit www.livemocha.com or for pronunciation of words, visit also the meriam-webster online dictionary, for every word that you try to search you can also here the correct pronunciation of that word by clicking on the sound icon. and practice get a chatmate that speaks fluent english. good luck!
