Is there some way so I can learn some English grammar and vocabs to prepare for my AP English Exam i

 Is there some way so I can learn some English grammar and vocabs to prepare for my AP English Exam i English is my 3rd language, Vietnamese would be my primary, Mandarin would be my secondary (but I only know the grammar for Mandarin and Spanish (4th) Japanese later on in college (maybe), and I am having diffciulties such as finding which errors are in a sentence, which sentence sounds better, grammar, etc. Some advice please, that may help me on my finals, SATs, ACTs, CSTs, AP exams etc.

Re: Is there some way so I can learn some English grammar and vocabs to prepare for my AP English Ex A great grammar book is "Using and Understanding English Grammar" by Azar, but reading English books (novels, non-fiction) will show you how the language is used.

Re: Is there some way so I can learn some English grammar and vocabs to prepare for my AP English Ex As a college English teacher, I always recommend Strunk and White's "Elements of Style" and the website www.grammarbook.com. The website has several quizzes that will explain your mistakes.

Re: Is there some way so I can learn some English grammar and vocabs to prepare for my AP English Ex Probably the best book for you to purchase to answer such questions is Simon & Schuster's, "Handbook for Writers." (Eighth edition.)
The book provides thorough answers and also gives insight to ESL students who may have specific problems with some idiosyncracies of the english language.
