AdverbWhich adds a meaning to the verb.

Words which are used to modify verbs or adjectives are usually referred to as adverbs.
For instance, the adverbs in the following sentences are ,
e.g. I often visit the library.
-visit
It is surprisingly hot today.
hot
In the first example, the adverb often modifies the verb visit. In the second example, the adverb surprisingly modifies the adjective hot.

And also to identify an adverb...any word which ends with " ly " is an adverb ok!

The adverb describes the verb.

My dog ran fast.

Fast is the adverb. It describes HOW my dog ran.

Richard is careless. Here careless is an adjective that modifies the proper noun Richard.

Richard talks carelessly. Here carelessly is an adverb that modifies the verb talks.

An adverb tells when, where, or how something is done.

I'll tell you SOON (when I'll tell you.)

He dances WELL (how he dances)

Please stand THERE. (where you should stand)

Adverbs also tell more about adjectives. They tell to what degree, or how much. They work as "intensifiers" in this context.

I was TOO tired to care (How much I was tired)

Mother was VERY angry (To what degree Mother was angry)
