Well, I used to be in ESL but now I'm not. Just impress your teachers. Do all your work and go beyond. If you do this, then maybe you won't have to take different courses. Try to get out of ESL.
BTW, I also want to become a future doctor too.

I don't think English really affects your career prospectives in terms of Medicine. I mean, take a look at the health system and you'll see that over 50% of the doctors/practitioners are not of english speaking background and have immigrated from their homeland. Just go good in the sciences and in the maths. Good luck!

Take the hardest classes you can (AP/honors). Study all the time. Read difficult books - learn, do not just understand - 100% of the vocabulary. Go to summer school for the hardest classes offered, including Language Arts. That should eliminate and ESL challenges.
If you do that for 4 years, and are successful, you should get into a strong college. Then do the same in college and if you score well enough on the Med School admissions test - you have a good shot at reaching your goal. Best wishes.

You'll need to go to a regular university and get your degree there before you go to med school. Your university degree will matter much more than your high school diploma when you are applying, so you don't need to worry too much about the 9th grade classes - you still have a long time.
That said, you'll be better prepared for college if you take higher level classes in high school. You should take math at least through calculus, chemistry, advanced or AP chem if your school has it, bio, and anatomy and physiology (if they have it).
I'm a little confused about why you are in low level classes if you are getting As. At the school where I teach, we would move students up to higher level classes if that were the case. Have you gone to talk to your counselor?
Hopefully they can make a few changes for next year, but even if not, you'll have a chance to take the upper level classes in 11th and 12th grades.

A doctor doesn't necessarily need honors classes in high school. It is probably easier if you have them, but they are not absolutely required. What is needed is that you go to a good college so that you can get into medical school after college. If you are currently taking low-level high school classes, the best way to do this is to go to a community college after you graduate for two years, and then transfer to a really good 4-year university. When you get into college, talk to a counselor about the courses you would need to get into medical school. Basically, there is a set of science classes you have to take to take the MCAT (the medical school admissions test) while in college. Sure, it would be easier if you had taken a lot of high-level science classes already in high school, but you can do this anyway.
